Muitos de vocês devem lembrar do Universal Androot como um meio fácil, simples e eficiente de realizar o seu acesso root (que visa obter acesso para funções especificas de seu aparelho Android) bastando um click e você estava com o aparelho roteado. Só que, infelizmente, esse aplicativo, na atual versão, ainda é incompatível com o Samsung Galaxy S (vendido na Claro e na Vivo) e você tinha que correr atrás de algo que lhe desse o acesso root no seu aparelho e para esses que dependem desse recurso que escrevo esse texto e digo, seus problemas acabaram. Através do Galaxy S Tweaker, do usuário Snoopy33 do fórum Xda-developers, você pode obter o acesso root no seu Galaxy S de forma tão fácil quanto no Universal Androot contudo, nesse aplicativo, que está disponível na Market, têm algumas outras funções interessantes que apontarei abaixo:
- Permite o acesso Root no Samsung Galaxy S tanto na versão Eclair, quanto na versão Froyo e também desfazer o acesso root.
- Permite modificar a tela do relógio (wake up clock) – imagem abaixo
- Permite visualizar e baixar aplicativos restritos da Market.

- help to install voodoo lagfix (version beta 4, the beta 5 does not exist yet in update.zip, and is not yet totally finish)
- help to disable voodoo lagfix (needed to update your ROM)
- help to change your screen lock
- help to change your fingerprint to access protected applications on the market (at the moment I use the fingerprint of droid eris phone, may be it’s a better idea to use Nexus one / Desire fingerprint to access to only froyo app, like flash, if you have one of these fingerprint, can you give me it?)

Para baixa-lo, utilize um leitor de código QR que deve estar instalado no seu aparelho Galaxy S ou procure o aplicativo na loja Market.

Como houve muitos casos de infelicidade com o uso do aplicativo, aqui vai alguns esclarecimentos:
No market, vêm indicando algumas firmwares que o aplicativo postado não funciona. Para aqueles que tiveram problemas, verifique se sua firmware não está incluída na lista de não compatíveis. Nas firmwares JP6 e JI6 não tentem. Você corre o risco de danificar o seu aparelho. (Apesar que essa firmware não é nacional mas… aviso dado).
Para quem tem firmware Froyo, tentem nas versões JP1 e JP2, apenas. Futuramente poderá haver novas versões e maior compatibilidade.
Antes de fazer o processo, tenha um backup do seu aparelho. Nos casos em que o aparelho “morre”, fiquem calmos. Basta dar um Flash no aparelho que ele volta ao normal e aí você vai precisar do backup para não perder nenhum dado.
Para quem quer usar o vooodo Lagfix, não tentem. O aparelho vendido no Brasil (i9000B) não é compatível ainda e sem ele, não pode modificar a Lock-Screen.
Para quem tem dificuldades, tentem fazer o processo utilizando o Debugging Mode (Modo de depuração) ativado no seu aparelho indo em Configurações/Aplicativos/Desenvolvimento/Depuração USB.
